DESCRIPTION:This exhibit takes up themes of travel, movement, and place rep
 resented in a selection of photographs from UofL Archives & Special Collec
 tions’ Fine Print collection. Rather than focusing on photographs that d
 irectly address the concept of travel guided by tourism, the photographs i
 ncluded here point to a different approach. They persistently guide us to 
 typically overlooked details, reveal new perspectives on well-known destin
 ations, and bring us along to otherworldly, sometimes unbelievable situat
 ions.\n\nThis exhibition will be on view in the Julius Friedman Gallery lo
 cated on the lower level of Ekstrom Library from April 16 to December 11, 
 2026. Open Monday - Friday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
